22nd July 2025

21st July 2025

  • Dr. Arroyo and Dr. Li will be starting their maternity leaves in October 2025. During their absences — 7 months for Dr. Arroyo and 6 months for Dr. Li — we are pleased to welcome several physicians who will be stepping in to care for their patients.

    • Dr. Cynthia Chan will be assuming Dr. Arroyo’s patient roster full-time and looks forward to assisting you with your medical care.

    • Dr. Kirsty Luopa will be covering Dr. Li’s patients on a part-time basis and is happy to see you for any new medical concerns that may arise. To help with seeing patients as Dr Luopa is part-time, we’re also excited to welcome Nurse Practitioner Kim Desjardin, who will be available once a week. Dr. Tara Hilton will also assist with routine diabetic care.

  • To help reduce wait times during this period of limited physician availability, we will be temporarily suspending routine Preventive Health Examinations (formerly known as “physicals”) and any out-of-province patients are not able to book in. We ask you to book appointments only once your regular physician returns. In the meantime, please continue to schedule appointments for any specific health concerns.

  • Thank you for your understanding and support!

16th June 2025

  • After discussion with our sister clinic, it has been agreed upon that if any patients fail to show up for a same-day after-hours clinic appointment, the new no-show fee charge will be $100. If you need to cancel, please call our number to cancel ASAP. If you are calling after 2pm, make sure to leave a clear voicemail. These cancellation voice messages will be flagged and actioned before 4pm.

6th February 2025

  • You may have noticed that there have been significant staffing changes lately. To better streamline our services and ensure efficient care, we are making changes to our vaccine clinic policies.

    • Effective immediately, we will only be providing injection services for:
      ✔️ Allergy shots
      ✔️ OHIP-covered vaccines, including:
      • Tetanus (Td/Tdap)
      • Well-baby vaccines
      • Prevnar-20 (for patients 65 and older)
      • Shingrix (for patients 65 and older)

    • We will NO LONGER administer the following injections:
❌ Jubbonti (previously prescribed as Prolia)
      ❌ Flu shots
      ❌ COVID-19 vaccines
      ❌ Twinrix
      ❌ Beyfortus
      ❌ Arexvy
      ❌ Depo-Provera
      ❌ Prevnar-20 (for patients under 65)
❌ Shingrix (for patients under 65)
      ❌ Eprex
      ❌ Vitamin B12

  • For these vaccines and injections, please book your appointment at your local pharmacy. If your pharmacist does not administer the injection, you can schedule an appointment at a Shoppers Drug Mart through their website.

  • We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adapting to this change!
